eCommerce and Customer Service Specialist – Fragrance Fam
Location: Remote or in our NJ/DC office (US only)
Job Type: Full-time (M-F, 40 hours/wk)
Fragrance Fam, an online designer fragrance retailer, is looking for a passionate perfume and cologne enthusiast to join our team in an eCommerce and customer service capacity.
If you love fragrances and enjoy engaging with customers, creating content, and ensuring smooth eCommerce operations in a fast-paced environment, this role is for you!
What You’ll Do Day to Day:
✅ Customer Support & Engagement – Address customer inquiries and fragrance recommendations in real time (chat/email). Retail fragrance experience and knowledge of scent notes highly preferred.
✅ Content Creation – Write and post 3-4 blog content pieces per month related to fragrances, trends, and product insights. Strong writing skills required.
✅ Order Processing & Fulfillment – Ensure all customer orders are rapidly forwarded to warehouse teams for fast and accurate fulfillment.
✅ Customer Reviews & Feedback – Collect and organize post-purchase reviews to improve customer satisfaction and brand trust.
✅ Inventory & Product Management – Regularly update SKUs, product descriptions, and stock availability on the website.
✅ Product Optimization – Improve and enhance product descriptions for clarity, SEO, and conversion.
✅ Reporting – Report business KPIs (sales, website traffic, customer service inquiries, etc.) as needed.
What We’re Looking For:
✔ Passion for fragrances – You love perfumes, colognes, and helping others discover new scents.
✔ Customer-first mindset – Experience in fragrance retail or customer service is highly desired.
✔ Strong writing skills – You can craft engaging content that enhances the Fragrance Fam shopping experience.
✔ Detail-oriented & organized – You stay on top of inventory, orders, and product updates.
✔ Basic eCommerce familiarity – Experience with Shopify, WooCommerce, or similar platforms is a plus but training will be provided.
✔ Work well remotely – Manage your workload in a comfortable environment of your choice. We value results over micromanagement—as long as the work gets done, you have flexibility.
